However, access to advanced eye care infrastructure and specialised services remains limited, leading to delayed diagnosis and lack of treatment.
With the growing need for comprehensive eye care, there is an increasing emphasis on strengthening systems that enable early detection, accurate diagnosis, and timely intervention. Building capacity within healthcare institutions is essential to ensure that patients receive specialised care across the continuum, from screening and diagnostics to surgery and long-term management.
Our Approach
Our approach focuses on strengthening vision care by enabling access to advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies. We support healthcare institutions with specialised eye care equipment that enhances precision in diagnosis and improves the effectiveness of treatment, particularly for complex eye conditions.
In addition, we contribute to the creation and expansion of dedicated facilities, including centres of excellence such as glaucoma and uvea centres and advanced refraction and laser facilities, to provide specialised and comprehensive care. We also support surgical interventions, enabling hospitals to deliver timely and high-quality treatment to a larger number of patients. Through these efforts, we aim to expand affordable access to advanced eye care services and improve visual outcomes for communities.
