However, delays in accessing appropriate care, whether due to limited infrastructure, availability of specialised services, or challenges in patient transport, continue to impact outcomes.
Strengthening healthcare systems to respond effectively within this critical timeframe is essential. This includes improving access to advanced diagnostics, enabling timely treatment, and ensuring efficient patient movement to appropriate care facilities, ultimately supporting better clinical outcomes.
Our Approach
Our work on cardiac care encapsulates enabling access to advanced medical equipment and critical care infrastructure. We support healthcare institutions with diagnostic support for early diagnosis and effective treatment, ensuring patients have access to facilities in their vicinity and receive timely interventions.
A key area of our work includes supporting the setting up or augmenting of Cath Labs, which are pivotal for diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions. We also extend support towards surgical care. We also strengthen trauma and emergency care systems by supporting essential equipment and enhancing response capabilities. A key component of this is enabling patient transport through ambulances, ensuring faster access to medical facilities, particularly in critical situations. Through these interventions, we are aiming to build capacity within healthcare system and bring quality cardiac care closer to communities.
