Energy is a fundamental driver of economic growth, livelihoods, and overall development, powering industries, institutions, and communities alike. At the same time, it plays an essential role in sustaining ecosystems and supporting biodiversity.
However, with rising demand, the energy landscape is under pressure, marked by heavy dependence on non-renewable sources, grid instability, high costs, and limited access to reliable and clean energy. This makes the transition to renewable energy not just an environmental priority, but an economic and social necessity for building resilient and sustainable systems.
Our approach to harnessing clean energy focuses on two key domains - solar and biofuels. Under solar, we support on-grid, off-grid, and micro-grid solutions, based on need, load, and feasibility across institutions such as hospitals, schools, defence establishments, and universities.
Our work on biogas is primarily at community level, where we support biogas units to promote cleaner cooking practices and contribute to environmental security. All of these interventions at institute and community level are undertaken and implemented in partnership with different entities.
