Ms Chanda Kochhar gets Woodrow Wilson Award for Global Corporate Citizenship Mrs. Chanda Kochhar, Chairperson of the Governing Council, ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth and Managing Director & CEO, ICICI Bank, became the first Indian woman to receive the Woodrow Wilson Award for Global Corporate Citizenship, earlier awarded to the likes of former President APJ Abdul Kalam and Infosys co-founder Mr. NR Narayana Murthy. The Woodrow Wilson Award for Global Corporate Citizenship was given by the Woodrow Wilson Centre in Washington on May 10, 2017. The award was conferred on Mrs. Kochhar for demonstrating a commitment to the common good – beyond the bottom line. It signifies the tremendous work done by ICICI Group under Ms Kochhar’s able leadership in improving the lives of people in the local communities and the world at large.
