The burgeoning economy has drawn greater attention to the urgent need for balancing environmental concerns with the imperatives of growth. A well functioning and effective civil society network is necessary to create a consensus for growth with appropriate checks and balances in a working democracy. Both attributes create a long term sustainability which is vital to managing growth into the future.

For its work on ensuring environmental sustainability, the ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth has partnered with the Environmentally Sustainable Project Finance (ESPF) group at the Centre for Development Finance at IFMR.

For its work on promoting a strong civil society the Foundation will work closely with CSO partners, a specialised NGO/CSO focused consulting company which will facilitate strategic partnerships between civil society organisations and experienced service providers in areas including organizational governance, human resources, communications, legal aid and accounting, volunteering and financial management.
