Eligibility

If you are selected to be an ICICI Fellow designate, you will be given the reins to steer two projects for the duration of 6 months each with reputed organizations working in rural India. You will be a part of a movement that aims to build the nation, step by step. Needless to say, this isn’t a task for the faint-hearted.

In this journey towards a better tomorrow you will encounter diverse and complex challenges.

The progress you make in your projects will be largely dependent on your ability to negotiate and balance the needs of the organization you are assigned to, the community you work with and the government bodies operating in your area of work. You must be willing and equipped to communicate effectively with the community, adapt to the organization’s culture and work environment and navigate government systems in order to achieve your goals during your time with the organization.

Affecting change at the grassroots level demands a high level of inner motivation, patience and perseverance. If you are interested in joining this programme we urge you to assess your readiness to face these challenges.

Are you eligible?

If you are a graduate (from any discipline) up to 28 years of age or will graduate on or before 1st July 2012, you are eligible to apply for the ICICI Fellows 2012 programme.
