Helping Mothers and children survive
The ICICI Centre for Child Health and Nutrition (ICCHN) is an interdisciplinary funding and research centre focused on the health and nutrition of vulnerable women, infants and young children in India. Child survival and early child development are among the most urgent challenges facing India today. Building on the work of the Early Child Health Practice of ICICI Bank's Social Initiatives Group, ICCHN is one of a number of institutional initiatives committed to building human capacity, increasing participation and promoting human development in India. Working in partnership with CSOs/ NGOs, governments, research institutions and the private sector, ICCHN concentrates its efforts on developing, evaluating and mainstreaming a range of community based health systems strategies to achieve scaled and sustainable improvements in one of the most vital dimensions of human development.

ICCHN supports and works collaboratively on a range of initiatives with potential to translate into large scale and sustainable improvements in child survival and development in India.
