What is the relationship between the ICICI Group and ICICI Foundation?
ICICI Group started ICICI Foundation in January 2008 to give focus to its efforts to promote inclusive growth amongst low-income Indian households. In addition to our work to support inclusive growth through support to five strategic partners mentioned above, ICICI Foundation’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team is responsible for the design and implementation of ICICI Group’s CSR projects.
Does ICICI Foundation offer financial assistance, scholarships or grants to individuals?
We do not provide any type of funding for individuals. ICICI Foundation operates by creating and supporting strong independent organisations.
We are an NGO working in an area of work supported by ICICI Foundation and we would like
to request funding for our programme. Is this possible?
We do not accept any direct requests for funding from NGOs. However, our strategic partner, CSO Partners, works to mobilise resources and provide support services for NGOs. Please visit www.csopartners.org.in for more information.
What are ICICI Group CSR activities? Are they different from ICICI Foundation’s work to
      support inclusive growth?
In addition to our work with our five strategic partners to support inclusive growth, ICICI Foundation works with ICICI Group of Companies to support their various corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. CSR initiatives are designed to be consistent with the respective business foci of each company within the ICICI Group.

Some CSR initiatives provide direct help and assistance to communities, like ICICI Group’s initiative for the rehabilitation of flood victims in Orissa, Bihar and West Bengal. Others are designed to have a broader impact on the individual as well as society, like ICICI Bank’s Read to Lead programme, which invests in India’s future by facilitating access to elementary education for 100,000 disadvantaged children. For more information, please visit our page on ICICI Group’s CSR activities.
