What is the relationship between the ICICI Group and ICICI Foundation?
ICICI Group started ICICI Foundation in January 2008 to give focus to its efforts to promote inclusive growth amongst low-income Indian households. In addition to our work to support inclusive growth through our four focus areas, eg. primary health, elementary education, access to finance, and sustainable livelihoods, ICICI Foundation is also responsible for the design and implementation of ICICI Group’s corporate social responsibility projects.
Does ICICI Foundation offer financial assistance, scholarships or grants to individuals?
Generally, we do not provide grants. We design our projects in our areas of focus and implement them through partners who specialise in those fields.
We are an NGO working in an area of work supported by ICICI Foundation and we would like to request funding for our programme. Is this possible?
We do not accept any direct requests for funding from NGOs.
What are ICICI Group CSR activities? Are they different from ICICI Foundation’s work to support inclusive growth?
In addition to our work in our four focus areas to support inclusive growth, ICICI Foundation works with ICICI Group of Companies to support their various corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. CSR initiatives are designed to be consistent with the respective areas of expertise of each company within the ICICI Group.
