Towards a vibrant civil society
A well functioning and energetic civil society is an important asset in any country looking to balance the imperatives of growth with social concerns. ICICI Foundation will work with CSO Partners to facilitate strategic partnerships between civil society organisations and experienced service providers in areas including organizational governance, human resources, communications, legal aid and accounting, volunteering and financial management. With the help of these "partners," CSO Partners hopes to bring a variety of "contributors" (donors, volunteers, board members, individuals, corporates) closer to its "clients", the CSOs/ NGOs.

The current set of Partners that CSO Partners aims to work with includes:

GiveIndia : a donation platform that allows individuals to channel funds to support a cause of their choice from over 110 CSOs/NGOs that have been listed on GiveIndia after fulfilling their stringent listing and feedback criteria.

Mitra : a volunteering and recruitment organisation which enables individuals to put their skills and time to work for the development sector as volunteers, as development professionals and as microfinance professionals.

Infochange : represents a group of experts and researchers who disseminate a professional, balanced and independent perspective on development issues.

Governance Matters : works to strengthen the boards of voluntary organisations and promotes good governance practices in the Indian voluntary sector.

MAM MOVIES : is a platform that makes low-cost but high quality films for CSOs/ NGOs so that they may be able to use media more effectively for bringing about social change.
