Enhancing the basic capacities of all individuals is integral to a well functioning and participatory socio-economic structure. The ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth will emphasise the need for providing quality health and education standards as a crucial strategy for improving development outcomes both in the short and the long term. It will work mainly with the ICICI Centre for Child Health and Nutrition (ICCHN) and the ICICI Centre for Elementary Education (ICEE) in pursuit of this mission. The two centres seek to better the quality and experience of basic education and health by improving the inputs and components of each capacity. Apart from devising effective grassroot processes and exploring strategies for change they will also partner with the government at the national, state and local levels as well as with community based organisations in each field.
